Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered is coming to PC on November 6th

EA has confirmed that Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered is coming to PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 6th and on Nintendo Switch on November 13th, offering gamers revamped visuals, new effects, additional content and all of the original game's DLC content. 

On Switch, gamers will enjoy higher-resolution models, more objects/props, longer draw distances, higher resolution shadows and improved videos. On PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the game will also feature a higher resolution UI, higher resolution reflections/textures, more particle effects and improved AA/SSAO. 

On Switch, PS4 and Xbox One (and Xbox One S), Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered will run at 30FPS, with PS4 Pro, Xbox One X and PC offering support for 60 FPS playback. On Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro, gamers can choose between a 4K 30 FPS more and a 1080p 60 FPS mode. PC is the only platform which can play Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit at 4K 60 FPS. PS4, Xbox One and Switch (Docked) target 1080p 30 FPS. The Switch targets 720p in handheld mode. 

On PC, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is designed to run on Windows 10 PCs using the DirectX 11 API. By today's standards, the game's system requirements are very low, which should come as great news for those who want to run the game on older systems. 

This Remaster will feature cross-platform multiplayer and will feature six hours of additional gameplay through the addition of new challenges and other add-ons. The game also features an updated photo mode and other quality of life improvements. 

Steam users will be glad to know that Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered will release on both Steam and Origin.
