NieR Replicant is getting remastered on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Steam

Square Enix has announced that NieR Replicant is getting remastered for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, recreating the PlayStation 3 original. This release comes as part of Square Enix’s 10-year anniversary celebration for the NieR franchise. 

Right now, little is known about NieR Replicant’s remake, aside from the game’s Nier Replicant ver. 1.22474487139 name and the fact that the game will feature fully voiced dialogue and re-recorded voiced audio. The game will also feature an expanded soundtrack and new content. 

The development of Nier Replicant ver. 1.22474487139 will be spearheaded by ToyLogic, but Platinum Games’ Takahisa Taura will be assisting in the game’s development. On PC, Nier Replicant ver. 1.22474487139 will release on Steam. 
 
At this time, Nier Replicant ver. 1.22474487139 has no firm release date, though we expect to learn more about the game later this year. Below is Square Enix’s teaser trailer for Nier Replicant’s upcoming remaster.
