Nvidia Reflex 2 remains MIA 18 months after its reveal
18 months have passed, and Nvidia Reflex 2 still hasn’t launched
In January 2025, Nvidia launched its RTX 50 series of graphics cards, and with it Nvidia unveiled Reflex 2, a latency-reducing technology that uses “frame warp” technology to make games more responsive. Now, 18 months have passed, and Nvidia Reflex 2 remains unavailable. No shipping game includes the feature, and it has no ETA.
Nvidia claimed that Reflex 2 could reduce PC latency by 75%, making games much more responsive. This change shortens reaction times, improves gaming precision, and makes games feel better to play. Unfortunately, Nvidia has been unable to release this technology. When Reflex 2 was unveiled, The Finals and Valorant were unveiled as launch titles.
This week, Thour, a CS2 player, posted that it has been 80 weeks since Nvidia’s Reflex 2 unveiling. The post even included a @JensenHuang, pointing towards the newly created Twitter/X account of Nvidia’s CEO. As expected, Huang has ignored the tweet and continued posting about AI. Thanks, Jensen.
It's been more than 80 weeks since NVIDIA announced Reflex 2 in January of 2025.

In a post about this topic, Videocardz noted that they have made three enquiries to Nvidia about Reflex 2. Nvidia did not respond to any of these requests. Today, Nvidia’s Reflex 2 page on its website has a “Buy GeForce” button, despite their lack of commitment to releasing Reflex 2. Nvidia’s lack of an update on Reflex 2 is eroding confidence in Nvidia’s GeForce division. Should anyone believe Nvidia’s future claims if Reflex 2 remains unreleased? At a minimum, Nvidia’s GeForce team needs to say why Reflex 2 hasn’t launched.
Nvidia Reflex 2 could be a game-changing technology
If Nvidia launches Reflex 2, it could be a game-changing technology for competitive games. Faster response times can make games feel better to play and give gamers a competitive edge over their rivals. Sadly, Nvidia hasn’t commented on Reflex 2 in a long time. As it stands, it is unclear if the feature will ever be released. Is Nvidia hoping that gamers will forget about their Reflex “Frame Warp” technology?
