The original STALKER Trilogy is getting updated in 2025; GSC Game World confirms
The end of 2024 is approaching, and GSC Game World is preparing its fanbase for what’s next. In 2025, the developer plans to update the original STALKER Trilogy on PC and consoles and release new content for STALKER 2.
Early next year, GSC Game World plans to release its content roadmap for STALKER 2. Furthermore, the STALKER: Legends of the Zone Trilogy will get a “Next-Gen Patch” for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles.
Since the release of the STALKER: Legends of the Zone Trilogy on consoles, PC gamers have asked for updates for the original STALKER trilogy on PC. After all, the PC platform is the home of the STALKER franchise, and any improvements to the games would be welcome. Beyond that, the series’ first three games could use some bug fixes and refinement. Sadly, no information about these planned updates has been revealed.
