Prince of Persia The Lost Crown is now available on Steam, and it runs great on Steam Deck
Prince of Persia The Lost Crown runs at a 90 FPS on Steam Deck
When Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown launched earlier this year, it proved to be a surprise hit for Ubisoft. Now, The Lost Crown is now available on Steam, making the game available to a larger number of PC gamers.
Previously, this game was exclusive to Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games Store. Now, the game is available on PC’s most popular storefront. Better yet, the game is playable on Steam Deck, and it runs incredibly well on Valve’s handheld.
In the X/Twitter post below, Ubisoft has confirmed that the game run at 60 FPS on Valve’s Steam Deck LCD and at 90 FPS on the Steam Deck OLED. These are the maximum refresh rates of both of Valve’s handhelds. This game is incredibly easy to run on PC, which is great news for anyone with a lower-end hardware setup.

Sadly, the PC demo for Prince of Persia TLC does not appear to be available on Steam. A free demo version is only available on Ubisoft Connect. Sadly, Ubisoft appears to have no plans to bring this demo to other platforms.
