Project Motor Racing to hit PC and consoles this Fall

Project Motor Racing has been revealed, and it may be the racing game that we’ve been waiting for

Straight4 Studios has announced that Project Motor Racing (formerly GTRevival) will be released on PC and consoles this fall. With developers from Slightly Mad Studios and Simbin, Straight4 Studios has the talent they need to create a good racer. Now, we know we won’t have to wait long to see the fruits of their team’s development efforts.

The origins of this game come from EA’s cancellation of the Project Cars franchise and the closure of Slightly Mad Studios in 2022. In a sense, Protect Motor Racing is a spiritual successor to Project Cars. With its “First Principle Physics” engine and “mod-friendly” GIANTS Engine 10, PMR could be the game that finally scratches that Project Cars itch.

PMR promises immersive sound design, dynamic weather conditions, a 24-hour day/night cycle, and other advanced features. With Straight4’s team of “Factory Drivers”, every car in the game has been tested and approved by brand partners to assure authentic levels of handling precision and accuracy. In other words, this is a proper sim racer.

Why Drive …

When you can RACE Project Motor Racing ignites all the passion, beauty, and intensity of professional motorsport. Race across eras in 70+ iconic cars across 10 definitive racing classes in intense Single Player Career and Online Racing Modes.

Feel every second with a new, benchmark-setting physics engine built on the mod-friendly GIANTS Engine 10 that delivers unmatched handling realism and high-fidelity FFB.

Experience “living” cockpits with visible G-forces, dirt, heat-haze, and then feel the precision of “True2Track” on 27 scanned track layouts, all with Dynamic Weather Conditions, Adaptive Racing & Drying Line, and a full 24-hour day/night cycle.

This is motor racing.
