Radeon launches AMD Software 25.5.2 driver for F1 25

AMD releases Radeon 25.5.2 GPU drivers for F1 25

AMD has officially released its 25.5.2 driver for EA Sports F1 25, an optional driver update for AMD’s RDNA-series products. This update allows Radeon graphics cards to play F1 25 with optimal performance levels and addresses crashes that may occur when using the game’s demanding path tracing mode.

This driver is considered “optional”, which means that only F1 25 players should download it. If you aren’t interested in playing F1 25, you should stick with AMD’s older GPU drivers.

Known Issues

  • Stutter and lower than expected performance may be observed when using alt-tab and streaming to Discord with multiple monitors.
  • Intermittent system crash may be observed while using multiple high-resolution monitors with AMD FreeSync on Radeon RX 9000 series graphics products.
