Rayman Legends Retold runs at 60 FPS, even on “Potato” PCs

Rayman Legends Retold’s PC system requirements have arrived, and they are much lower than expected

Rayman Legends Retold is coming to PC and consoles on December 3rd, and Ubisoft has just unveiled the game’s PC system requirements. The good news is that the game calls for surprisingly low-end hardware for 60 FPS gameplay. That said, the game’s hardware requirements can spike at 4K with Ultra settings.

Even with its minimum PC system requirements, this game targets 60 FPS gameplay. To achieve this at 1080p low settings (with Quality upscaling), the game calls for a GeForce GTX 1660 (6GB) or a Radeon RX 5500 XT (4GB). These GPUs are both low-end graphics cards from 2019 and are among the lowest-end GPUs currently supported by modern AMD and Nvidia graphics drivers.

For 1080p 60 FPS using high settings, Nvidia’s RTX 2060 SUPER, AMD’s RX 5700, and Intel’s ARC A750 (all 8GB GPUs) are recommended. Again, these GPUs are low-end by today’s standards. However, VRAM and system memory requirements climb significantly when using high settings.

At 1440p, GPU requirements rise to Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3070, AMD’s RX 6750 XT, and Intel’s ARC B580. Note that for 4K 60 FPS at Ultra settings, PC GPU requirements rise significantly to AMD’s RX 7900 XTX and Nvidia’s RTX 4080. This suggests that Rayman Legends Retold’s Ultra settings are incredibly demanding.
