Redacted is now available for free on the Epic Games Store

Redacted becomes available for free two months after launch

Little more than two months after the game’s launch, Redacted, has become available for free on the Epic Games Store. The game will remain free until December 31st at 4 PM GMT, after which a new game will be made free. This game was developed by Striking Distance Studios.

Redacted was released on October 31st, 2024. It is a fast-paced isometric roguelike set in the same universe as The Callisto Protocol. In the game, players must attempt to escape Black Iron Prison by using its last escape pod. Players must battle monsters and other rivals to escape the prison alive, with each new game presenting different challenges.

At launch, this game received positive reviews, and now that the game is free, there is little reason for PC gamers not to try it out. If you like Roguelike titles and want to shoot some monsters, this game is worth trying out.
