Refunds, Updates, and Discounts promised for disappointing Space Marine Master Crafted Edition

Temporary discounts and refunds have been offered for Space Marine Master Crafted owners on PC

While Space Marine is a great game, its Master Crafted Edition leaves a lot to be desired, especially on PC. While the game’s new graphical and control updates are welcome, the changes to the game are minimal. As such, the game’s £34.99 asking price has been deemed excessive by many PC gamers, especially those who own the game’s original PC version.

Now, SneakyBox has acknowledged the game’s “Mostly Negative” review rating on Steam by offering full refunds for buyers until July 10th. Furthermore, owners of the game’s original PC version on Steam can now get a 50% “upgrade discount.” Sadly, this “upgrade discount” will only be available until July 10th, which is disappointing. This discount should be permanent. There’s no need for this FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) nonsense…

SneakyBox has promised a “Patch Roadmap” for Space Marine. This will add updated localisation options to the game, UI/UX enhancements, bug fixes and gameplay fixes.

We know this situation has been frustrating for some of you, and we’re sorry for the confusion it’s caused. We hope this approach offers a workable solution while we continue improving the game itself.

We’ll continue listening, improving, and communicating as these changes go live. Thanks for sticking with us.

As much as I love Space Marine, the game’s new version is a disappointment. Graphical improvements are minimal, and its asking price was too high to be worth upgrading to. While discounts for existing owners are welcome, the temporary nature of these discounts leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Is this the best way to regain lost trust?
