Relic Entertainment unveils Company of Heroes 3: Final Stand
Company of Heroes 3 is getting a standalone “Final Stand” defensive experience
Relic Entertainment has officially unveiled Company of Heroes 3: Final Stand, a new standalone DLC that offers a fast-paced wave defence experience for solo and co-operative play. As a standalone game, this does not require Company of Heroes 3 to play. It will become available on July 29th and will cost $29.99 USD/£23.99 GBP/€28.99 on Steam. At launch, the game will have a 10% discount, with Company of Heroes 3 owners getting an additional 20% bundle discount.
Players will be able to control one of four iconic Company of Heroes factions. This includes the US Forces, British Forces, Wehrmacht, and the Deutsches Afrikakorps. Each faction has unique strategies, units, abilities, and progression paths.
With Final Stand, players must dig in and build defensive layers to survive escalating waves of enemy forces. Each game will last 12 rounds and will include boss battles and dynamic battlefield events. However, there is also an “Endless Mode” for players who want a larger challenge. With roguelike progression, players are encouraged to experiment with their tactics and adapt to changing battlefield scenarios.
This standalone game is designed to throw players straight into the action with battles against overwhelming odds. Final Stand promises climactic battle after climactic battle. That’s something that many longtime fans of the series may enjoy.
