Riot Games Announces New League of Legends Game Mode

One of the most popular (Free to Play) games on PC is undoubtedly League of Legends, a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (or MOBA) game by Riot Games. Every now and again, Riot launches a special, featured game mode. There have been a few of these modes, including 'Hexakill' (in which teams of six people compete with each other, instead of teams of five people), 'Ultra Rapid Fire' (a fast-paced game mode launched on april fools day 2014) and 'One For All' (in which both teams play with the same champions). 'L4T3NCY' from Riot Games has announced a new featured game mode on the League of Legends Forums, called Nemesis Draft.

Riot Games Announces New League of Legends Game Mode

In Nemesis Draft, you don't just pick your own champions to play with. No, you pick champions for your enemies. Indeed, you can assemble a team for your enemy yourself. Chaos, fun and flaming 12-year olds guaranteed. Nemesis Draft is playable in the PBE, or Public Beta Environment now, and will be the first featured game mode of the new year. Riot Games itself seems to be quite excited about its new, unique game mode. L4T3NCY has an idea of how the games are going to go, and is excited to see how this mode will turn out.

"SO.. we’re excited to see how scheming & creative you guys are. Are we about to uncover some diamonds in the rough? Will it be, “Give them all melee champs!” or “Give them all AD so we can just build armour!”. And then the inevitable, “Ok guys. We’ve got 4 junglers and a support.. but so do they! Let’s do this.” I can’t wait. :)"

An official release date for Nemesis Draft hasn't been announced yet, but more information is expected soon. Are you going to play this? I know I am. Tell us what you think.
