RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business has been revealed for PC and consoles

RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business is coming to PC and consoles this Summer

NACON and Teyon have officially revealed RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business, a standalone follow-up to 2023’s RoboCop: Rogue City. The game will launch this summer on July 17th on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. On PC, the game will be available through Steam.

While this game is a sequel to Rogue City, gamers will not need to play the game’s predecessor to have a good time. That said, Rogue City is currently available with an 80% discount on Steam, making now a great time to try it out.

This game is a direct sequel, building upon the systems of the first Rogue City. That means that both games will feature a similar UI and game systems. In other words, if you enjoyed the original, you should enjoy its sequel.

Armed mercenaries have seized control of the OmniTower. Their goal is to take control of the power source at its core. Combine this with stolen modules from the Metro West precinct, and they’ll have all the parts needed to take control of any OCP technology in the vicinity, including RoboCop.

Ascend the OmniTower, a housing project turned deathtrap, with turrets, traps, and squads of troopers roaming the halls. All the while, you’ll be exploring a new story, uncovering links between RoboCop, the people around him, and their shared history as you learn the lengths some are willing to go to realize their ideals.

What I love about Unfinished Business is that it harkens back to an older era. This sequel is launching less than two years after the original, which is incredible by modern standards. How many modern games get a sequel this quickly? Yes, this new game may be more similar to the original than other sequels, but it’s great not having to wait half a decade (or more) for a game’s follow-up to arrive.
