Rockstar Games brings DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation to Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced

Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced can now run at absurdly high framerates on PC

Rockstar Games has just updated Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced to support Nvidia’s DLSS 4 technologies. This includes Nvidia’s DLSS 4 Transformer model and Nvidia’s DLSS Multi Frame Generation technology.

Using Nvidia’s DLSS 4 technologies, Nvidia can boost the framerates delivered by its RTX 50 series GPUs by “an average of 3.9X”, giving gamers access to more fluid gameplay, especially on high refresh rate monitors. This allows PC gamers to enjoy absurdly high framerates with Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced’s ray tracing features. These include ray-traced ambient occlusion, ray-traced global illumination lighting, ray-traced shadows, and ray-traced reflections.

Nvidia has also released a new “Game Ready” driver for Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced. This driver (GeForce 580.97) delivers optimised for the newest updates for Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced and Hellblade II: Senua’s Saga.

Even now, Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced has a smaller player base than its original “Legacy” PC version. Yesterday, the game’s enhanced version peaked at 51,292 players. In contrast, the game’s “Legacy” version had a peak player count of 90,530. Despite its enhancements, most Grand Theft Auto V players refer to play the game’s older version.
