Rockstar Games releases part 2 of their Red Dead Redemption 2 gameplay showcase
Today, Rockstar has released over four minutes of Red Dead Redemption 2 gameplay, showcasing the wild west with levels of graphical fidelity that we have never seen before on console, surpassing the studio’s efforts with GTA V on the same hardware platforms.
In this trailer, Rockstar has confirmed that the game will feature a first-person camera mode as well as a cinematic camera mode for world traversal, as well as the inclusion of heists and a variety of robbery types from train jobs to stagecoach robberies. Â
While the original Red Dead Redemption never made it to PC, its sequel remains one of PC gaming’s most highly anticipated releases, despite the lack of official confirmation from Rockstar. Grand Theft Auto V remains one of Steam’s most played games, even after three years of its original release, making Red Dead Redemption 2 almost a certainty for the PC platform, assuming that Rockstar wants to earn every cent they can from the game.Â
Red Dead Redemption II will feature several high-level and low-level decisions, from character customisation to whether or not the player, Arthur Morgan bathes. Side quests and other in-game actions will affect the player’s reputation within settlements, and determine whether or not bounty hunters will seek to kill or capture the player.Â

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of outlaw life that seamlessly blends story with action, and exploration with choice – all under the constant threat of danger.
Watch the second half of our Red Dead Redemption 2 Gameplay Series – outlining all sorts of nefarious activities Arthur and the Van der Linde Gang can get involved in, including robbing trains, encountering rival gangs and outlaws, evading cunning lawmen and lots more in a world that is deep, teeming with life and very menacing. Todayâs video also includes a look at the new and expanded Dead Eye system, and was captured entirely from in-game footage.
Red Dead Redemption 2: Coming October 26, 2018 to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems.
