Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) Extended Look is now available as a 14.2GB Download

Gamers can now download a high-quality 14.2GB video of Grand Theft Auto VI’s Extended Look

Rockstar Games has released its “Extended Look” for Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6), bringing its gameplay reveal to YouTube after hours of Netflix exclusivity. Rockstar has now made the Extended Look available to download on its website. This is a pristine 14.2GB video of the Extended Look, giving gamers a higher-quality version of the showcase free of video-streaming compression.

Rockstar’s extended look is over 26 minutes long and uses in-game footage of GTA 6’s PS5 version. This footage should represent the most commonly available versions of Grand Theft Auto 6, given how similar the performance of Sony’s PS5 and Microsoft’s Xbox Series X is. PlayStation 5 Pro should be able to play the game at a higher resolution and offer sharper visuals with PSSR 2 upscaling.

Rockstar’s trailer footage runs at 30 FPS, implying that GTA 6 will run at 30 FPS on consoles. So far, Rockstar has not commented on whether the game has a 60 FPS performance mode on consoles. That said, given this game’s visuals, a 30 FPS cap wouldn’t be surprising.

So far, Rockstar’s Extended Look has over 3.8 million views on YouTube. Note that this number excludes the Extended Look’s Netflix viewership and viewers who choose to download Rockstar’s full-quality trailer.
