Saints Row is currently available for free on the Epic Games Store

Expect a new free game every day until January 4th from Epic

Epic Games “Mystery Game” promotion has entered its 11th day. Today, Saints Row is the Epic Games Store’s latest freebie. This game will be available for free for the next 24 hours, after which a new game will be given away on the storefront.

Epic Games are giving away the Saints Row 2022, not the 2003 original. The game features a lengthy campaign that can be played in single-player or in 2-player co-op.  While Saints Row’s financial failure is what killed Volition, the game’s developer, the game is enjoyable, especially when played in co-op. Yes, the game is not as good as older games in the series, it is certainly worth trying out now that the game is free. Updates have greatly improved several aspects of this game since launch, and on PC the game runs fairly well.

Saints Row will be available for free until 4PM GMT on December 31th. After this, a new game will be available for free on the Epic Games Store.

Tomorrow, Epic Games plans to make a new “Mystery Game” available for free on their storefront. At this time we can only guess at what this game will be.
