Smoother performance on all platforms - Immortals of Aveum's Update #2 has arrived

Update 2 for Immortals of Aveum promises smoother performance on PC and consoles

Ascendent Studios has released another new update for Immortals of Aveum, the company’s first-person spellcasting game. With this update, gamers on all platforms should expect Immortals to run smoother, thanks to the elimination of many FPS drops and a decrease in stuttering throughout the game.

On PC, gamers now has three extra graphical options to utilise: Mesh Pool Quality, Shadow Rendering Pool Size, Render Target Pool Size. At this time it is unclear how these new settings can impact game performance, but they are new tools in the toolbox of gamers who want to get the game running faster on lower-end PCs.

In the future, Ascendent Studios plans to release more patches for Immortals of Aveum, hopefully increasing the game’s performance further while adding other refinements to the game. Immortal of Aveum has been confirmed as one of the first games that will support AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution 3.0 technology, which will add support for AMD’s Fluid Motion Frames frame generation technique to the game.
