Sonic Origins has been revealed for PC and consoles

Sonic Origins is coming to PC and consoles on June 23rd

SEGA has just revealed Sonic Origins, a digital-only game that will be released on PC and all current-generation/last-generation console platforms. The game will included 4 remastered classics, Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic CD, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and Sonic 3 & Knuckles, offering gamers remastered gameplay, new animations, content, features, and more.

With Sonic Origins, SEGA wants to deliver gamers on all platforms the best way to replay their classic Sonic titles, offering gamers the ability to play all games as Sonic, Tails, & Knuckles. Additionally, the game can be played in both Classic and Anniversary modes, giving gamers multiple ways to replay these classic titles.

On PC, Sonic Origins will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store. All versions of the game will be launching on June 23rd 2022. Below is Sonic Origins' reveal trailer.

I'm somewhat hyped and somewhat disappointed, because this will be the 23408th iteration of those games. It's sad that there simply are no good new Sonic games around besides Sonic Colours from what I've heard.Quote
