Sony released detailed PC system requirements for their Concord Early Access Beta
Here’s what you need to run Sony’s Concord on PC
Sony are gearing up to launch their Early Access Beta for Concord this weekend on PC and PlayStation. That makes now the perfect time to release some early PC system requirements for the game’s PC version.
Concord is a new squad-based first person shooter from Firewalk Studios. The game is launching on PC and PlayStation 5 on August 23rd. However, there will be both an Early Access Beta and a Public Beta ahead of launch. The game’s public beta starts on July 12th and runs through July 14th. Optional cross-play will be available to allow PC and PS5 users to play together.
Concord’s Early Access beta is available to those who pre-order the game on PC or PlayStation. pre-orderers will get beta access for themselves and four friends. That’s enough for a full squad of players. The game’s open beta will be available between July 18th and 21st.
Concord PC system requirements
On Twitter/X, Sony has revealed the full system requirements of Concord’s PC version. All levels of this game’s system requirements target 60 FPS gameplay at resolutions of 1080p or above. Even so, this game’s minimum hardware requirements are rather low by today’s standards.
To play this game, you will need a PC with a GPU that is equal to, or better than, Nvidia’s GTX 1660 and AMD’s RX 5500 XT. CPU-wise, this game has relatively high requirements. To play Concord, gamers need an Intel i7-8700K, AMD Ryzen 7 2700X or better CPU. Yes, this game needs a CPU with six or more strong CPU cores!
Like most modern game, Concord needs SSD storage to run optimally. Below, we can see that 30GB of SSD storage is recommended.
It is likely that Firewalk Studios will update Concord’s hardware requirements ahead of launch. That said, these system requirements are unlikely to change in a major way. After all, the game is launching in around six weeks. We don’t expect this game’s performance profile to change dramatically ahead of launch. Regardless, Concord could surprise us in this regard.
