Sony’s working on Days Gone’s early PC issues
As it stands, Day’s Gone has a much better PC version than Horizon Zero Dawn did at launch, but that doesn’t mean that the game is free of issues on PC.Â
Sony and Bend Studios have confirmed that PC patches are in the works for Days Gone, hoping to address all of the issues that have been reported by players so far. The most notable of these issues are the game’s controller input problems and the game “intermittent issues with game speed”, which appear as short speed stutters during gameplay. Â
Sony has not given any ETA for the release of their planned Days Gone patches. That said, we should expect the game’s full list of known issues to be addressed in time, as Sony has showcased a clear commitment to fixing game bugs with Horizon: Zero Dawn’s PC version.Â
 Â
We are currently investigating the following issues that have been impacting some players with Days Gone on PC:
· Issues with a lack of controller input. If you are not receiving any controller input, please follow these steps: Make sure âIgnore Controllerâ is turned off in the Options > Controller menu. Make sure only one controller is connected in windows. Try clicking left mouse into the game window to give the game windows focus
· Audio issues, including loss of audio at initial launch
· Difficulties with the mouse feeling like there is a âdead zoneâ
· Simultaneous mouse and keyboard/gamepad input conflicting with rolling/sprinting actions
· Camera issues when using a mouse. To work around this issue, turn off âBike Camera Trackingâ and âCamera Follow Trackingâ in the Options > Gameplay menu
· Problems with turning in bounties or meat, while also unable to properly interact at other vendors
· Unable to equip weapons from the player Gun Locker with controller
· Game hang when the cinematic starts before the mission âWhatâs A Nice Girlâ
· Intermittent crashes when booting the game or in the early game
· Intermittent issues with game speed
