Star Wars Jedi: Survivor now has a release date and its first gameplay trailer

Jedi: Survivor has recieved its first trailer, and the game is looking great

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was easily one of the best Star Wars games of recent years, and the good news is that Respawn will soon be ready to release that game’s sequel; Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

Survivor starts five years after the events of Fallen Order, with the Empire continuing to pursue Cal as he continues to grow as a Jedi Knight. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is now due to launch on March 17th 2023, arriving exclusively on current-generation gaming platforms. This includes PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. On PC, Jedi: Survivor will be launching on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and on the EA App.

Starting today, pre-orders for Star Wars Jedi Survivor will be available on all platforms, with pre-orderers receiving exclusive cosmetic items for use within the game.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor evolves the gameplay, story, and exploration from Fallen Order in every way,” said Stig Asmussen, game director, Respawn. “Responsive and powerful combat makes players feel like a true Jedi Knight, with new lightsaber skills and Force abilities that add additional layers of strategy to each enemy encounter, and worlds that are filled with environmental challenges that must be overcome to unveil the mysteries within.

Based on the game’s new gameplay trailer, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a lot more graphically impressive than its predecessor, and it is clear that the team at Respawn entertainment are aiming to take the game to new heights. Gamers should not expect more of the same from Jedi: Survivor. Gamers should expect new mechanics, traversal options, fighting styles, Jedi abilities, and more. In Jedi: Survivor, dual lightsabre fighting will become an option, giving players more ways to change their playstyle.
