Steam’s Summer Sale dates leak online
The dates of Steam’s Summer Sale have been leaked by two sources, Pavel Djundik, a contributor to SteamDB and a developer called Avi Thour. The sale is due to start on June 25th and end on July 9th, starting at 6 PM BST. This sale will take place over two weeks, and the event is said to include some surprise extras for players.Â
In another Tweet, Djundik stated that Valve has plans to introduce a new loyalty/rewards system into Steam, a point system which will allow gamers to add reactions to reviews to gain points. These points can be used to redeem reward items, points for badges and other benefits. More information about this system will likely be revealed at a later date.Â

It is worth noting that Valve is within their rights to change the dates of their Steam sales, though such changes are not expected to be drastic. These sales are designed to coincide with public holidays in the US and other western nations, a factor which will likely fix these sales to their pre-planned dates.Â
