Street Fighter 5 will be a PS4 and PC Exclusive

Capcom has announced that Street Fighter 5 will be released on PS4 and PC Exclusively and will not be releasing on Xbox One. The Game has also been announced to feature cross-platform multiplayer, allowing PC Gamers and PS4 gamers to battle against each other competitively.

Xbox's Gaming director, Phil Spenser, says that they will "make amends" to Xbox fans saying that deals like this just happen.

"Business deals happen... We won't do all of them. When we have a 1st party franchise in a genre I'd rather invest in ours (referring to Xbox's Killer Instinct)."

"I'd love it if Xbox fans could play all the games, but business just makes some deals happen. It's all part of competition."

The first Gameplay video for Street Fighter 5 can be seen above. Capcom also said that this game will be playable for the first time by the public at Capcom Cup 2014, which will take place in San Francisco on December 13th.

As far as console exclusivity goes we must remember that Xbox already has a lot of exclusives. Dead Rising 3, Rise: Son of Rome and Rise of the Tomb Raider have/ will be timed exclusives for the Xbox one, then there are full on exclusives like Halo and Sunset Overdrive to consider.

At this point all that can be said about the consoles is that they are consoles, exclusivity deals happen, but now it seems PC is not losing out as much as they used too due to these deals, with many exclusive now coming to one of the two main consoles and PC, hopefully this trend continues.
