The PC version of Death Stranding has been delayed

Kojima Productions has confirmed that the PC version Death Stranding has been delayed to help the studio adjust to its new work-from-home structure. Now, Death Stranding’s PC version is due to release on July 14th, over a month later than the game’s June 2nd release date.

On PC, Death Stranding will release simultaneously on Steam and the Epic Games Store, including new in-game options such as a high-framerate mode and a PC-only photo mode. The PC version will also ship with an expanded digital soundtrack, ultrawide support and improved visuals. On Steam, the game will also include Half-Life series cross-over content.

This game delay was caused by the global COVID-19 pandemic, which was forced game developers across the world fo adopt a new work structure. This has caused several game delays already, and hopefully, these delays will allow each of these developers to release their games in a worthy state.

Right now, Death Stranding is available to pre-order on PC for £54.99 in the UK on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
