The dates for Steam's summer sale have leaked

We all know that Steam's summer sale is coming, the yearly event that budget oriented gamers have been eagerly awaiting as out wallets give into despair. For years now the date of this event have long been known by gamers, leaking through PayPal notifications, developers and various other sources throughout the years.

This year the sale was leaked by a developer on Reddit, who revealed that the sale would start at 9:50 AM PST on June 22nd and end on July 5th at 10:05 am PST. This will have the sale running for two weeks, giving gamers a lot of time to make the most out of the price reductions available.

Sadly, Steam's sales have gotten a lot less interactive over the years, removing timed sales events and removing a lot of the game-like aspects of Steam sales. Looking at this from a different perspective it prevents gamers from missing "limited" sale items and prevents the almost daily server slowdowns that result from thousands of Steam users loading the same page at once.

Not buying anything. All the games I look forward to are on console and pre purchased.
Except endless space 2, but I already have itQuote

I won't be buying anything unless there is a deal I cannot pass up on, as I am still looking for work and have £600 left in the bank to last me till I find work.Quote

There aren't that many games I want either. Games I do want and might consider getting:

Civilization VI
Rocket League
Hitman
Farming Simulator 17
Fallout 4
Dues Ex Mankind Divided
Call of Duty (might get BOII to see if I am any better compared to console)

And then there are a bunch of Indie games I'll probably get:

Undertale
Rimworld
The Long Dark
SuperhotQuote

I wouldn't bother with Civ VI. It's not bad, but I feel Civ V with the DLC is better. I think after a year or two the same will happen with Civ VI.Quote
