Winter is coming and with it will come Steam sales, events that will allow PC gamers to get a little bit more from their money and catch up on some classic PC games for a fraction of their original cost.

The dates for three remaining 2017 Steam sales have been leaked, with developer sources confirming their validity, allowing PC gamers to prepare themselves for the onslaught to come as gamers get that all too familiar feeling of anxiety, desperation and desire.

The first of these sales will take place on Halloween, taking place between October 26th and November 1st, with an Autumn sale taking place almost a month later between November 22nd and November 28th. Finally, PC gamers can look forward to Steam's Christmas sale which will start on December 21st and end in January 2018, which means that this will also act as a Steam New year sale.

I would use the standard social media reply here "Oh Lord Gaben no, my wallet is not ready" but the last 3 sales have been dire.. sadly the sales just don't give what they used to.Quote

How much of it is the sales being worse and how much is the fact that we already own most of the games we are interested in that will be on sale?Quote

CDKeys, G2A and Kinguin have been my go to sites for games as they have better prices all year round, and their prices are still better than Steam sales.Quote

I only use CDkeys now because their customer service is ace. G2A are horrible should you have a problem, and just block you as soon as you complain. My mate has been blocked from there, which is ironic given that they let any one sell stolen/shady keys on there.

Twice I have had an issue with CDK (they just forgot to send me my code) and I have had it within about three hours.Quote
