The Elder Scrolls online: Tamriel Unlimited will be free-to-play this week, starting tomorrow (November 16th) at 6pm GMT and ending on Monday, November 21st at 6pm GMT. 
 
The game is available for pre-load now on Steam and will give gamers access to the base game and 500 crowns, the game's premium in-game currency, with any progress made in this free trial carrying over to eventual purchasers. Players will be required to create an ESO account.

The Elder Scrolls Online is available to play on both Windows PC and Mac. The Windows PC system requirements for the game are shown below.

    • OS: Windows 7 32-bit 
    • Processor: Intel i3 or AMD 3870 generation processors or higher 
    • Memory: 3 GB RAM 
    • Graphics: Direct X 11.0 compliant video card with 1GB RAM (NVidia GeForce 460 or AMD Radeon 6850) 
    • DirectX: Version 11 
    • Network: Broadband Internet connection 
    • Storage: 85 GB available space 
    • Sound Card: DirectX compatible sound card


RECOMMENDED: 

    • OS: Windows 7/Windows 8.1 64-bit 
    • Processor: Quad Core 2.3GHz or equivalent processor 
    • Memory: 4 GB RAM 
    • Graphics: Direct X 11.0 compliant video card with 2GB RAM (NVidia GeForce GTX 750 or AMD Radeon HD 7850) 
    • DirectX: Version 11 
    • Network: Broadband Internet connection 
    • Storage: 85 GB available space 
    • Sound Card: DirectX compatible sound card

 

If you are looking to test out a new MMO or are looking to try out some new a new game in The Elder Scrolls universe this is a great opportunity to try ESO before your buy it. The free weekend will start on Wednesday, November 16th at 10am PT/6pm GMT.

You still have to buy it but there is no subscription fee, These few days enable you to try it without buying it.Quote
