The Epic Games Store Promises a Free Game every Two Weeks
Later this month, Subnautica and Super Meat Boy will be available for free on the platform, becoming free between December 14th-27th to December 28th and January 10th respectively. Both of these games are highly acclaimed, making them more than worth picking up on the Epic Store.Â
The Epic Games Store will be open to third-party game developers, even if they do not use Unreal Engine to create their titles, with content on the storefront being highly curated to offer PC gamers the quality content that they deserve, acting as a stark contrast to Steam where pretty much anything can be sold on the store, seemingly regardless of quality. Â

While some PC gamers do not like the idea of a new gaming store to navigate, it is hard to see the Epic Store failing this early on, already proving to be popular amongst developers at The Game Awards. Notice that a lot of the new game trailers lacked any references to Steam on PC, instead using the Epic Games Store logo.Â
