The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition has been revealed for PC and current-gen consoles

The Outer Worlds is getting a current-generation upgrade, but it won't be free

Obsidian Entertainment an Private Division have revealed The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition, a new current-generation remaster of The Outer Worlds that gives the game a graphical overhaul, improved AI, and all of the base game's DLC.

The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition is coming to PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5, and while this upgrade is not free for existing owners of The Outer Worlds, owners of the original game and its DLC will receive access to the game's Spacer's Choice Edition at a "reduced price" if they are buying the game on the same platform.

On PC, The Outer Worlds will be available on Steam, The Epic Games Store, and GOG, and graphically the game will feature higher resolution visuals, enhanced environments, increased asset density, updated weather conditions, reworked character models, improved animations, and and a better depth of field effect.

As mentioned before, The Outer Worlds' Spacer's Choice Edition will feature the content of the base game and its Peril on Gorgon and Murder on Eridanos DLCs. The game will also feature a higher level cap, allowing players to make use of more of the game's skill tree.

The Outer Worlds Spacer's Choice Edition will be available on March 7th on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
