The Witcher 3's Next-Gen version has recieved its second HotFix

The Witcher 3 Next-Gen’s second PC hotfix has landed, and more updates are planned

Today, CD Projekt Red has released their second hotfix for The Witcher 3’s Next-Gen’s PC version, offering gamers more stability fixes, Steam Deck specific fixes, various bug fixes and more.

While The Witcher 3’s next-gen launch has been far from seamless, the game’s recent hot fixes have come a long way towards fixing many of the update’s early issues. Even so, it looks like more updates are required to get the game where it should be, as CD Projekt Red has confirmed that they plan to release a lot of updates for their next-generation The Witcher 3 version across all platforms in the weeks and months to come.

At this time, we know that today’s update to The Witcher 3’s next-gen will not impact the game’s performance on PC. Currently, PC’s new version of The Witcher 3 is incredibly demanding, especially when the game’s new ray tracing features are enabled. CPU performance has been cited as a common issue for many gamers, and we hope that future update will be able to deliver significant performance increases for PC gamers.
