Ubisoft officially reveals Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

It’s official, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be coming to PC this holiday season on PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Stadia, launching as a cross-generation title while will place players into 9th Century England.

Players will control Eivor, a Viking Raider who will lead his clan from the icy mountains of Norway to a new home in the lush farmlands of England. To do this, players must found a settlement, conquer hostile territory and force your own destiny using Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s RPG mechanics, tactical battles and diplomatic strategies.

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla will feature a large open world which spans the icy North Sea and the shattered Kingdoms of England. Based on the trailer below, Englands Alfred The Great will be a major player within Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s campaign.

This game takes place in a time known as the Dark Ages, an era of history which came after the end of the Roman Empire and the start of the Medieval period. This is a time where nations started to emerge, and the world was rebuilding reconnecting itself after the fall of Rome.

Sadly, Ubisoft did not release any gameplay for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla today, though we can expect to see more of the game at a later date.

On PC, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be available on the Epic Games Store and the Uplay. The game is available for pre-order starting today.
