Ubisoft’s revealing the setting of their next Assassin’s Creed’s game live

Get ready, because Ubisoft is about to reveal the setting of its next Assassin’s Creed game, and they’re doing it live. We’re pretty sure that the game is going to use a Viking setting, but right now, nothing has been confirmed.

A Ubisoft artist is currently creating artwork for the game on a YouTube/Twitch live stream, using Photoshop to reveal the location of the next entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Yep, that’s definitely a unique way to reveal a new game.

It is likely that Ubisoft’s next Assassin’s Creed game will release alongside the next-generation consoles from Microsoft and Sony, possibly as a cross-generation release. With the launch on PS4 and Xbox One, Ubisoft created two new Assassin’s Creed titles, Unity for PS4 and Xbox One and Rogue for PS3 and Xbox 360, though I think it’s unlikely that Ubisoft will repeat this as we enter the Xbox Series X/PlayStation 5 generation.

Right now, the stream showcases a snowy, mountainous background on one side of a warrior’s silhouette and a greener, more peaceful background at the other side of the warrior.

Again, this looks like a Nordic setting, but Ubisoft could surprise us. Watch the stream below to see everything as it happens.
