UL's Procyon Benchmarks delivers creator-focused benchmarking for photo and video editors
The first of these new Procyon benchmarks are for Photo Editing and Video Editing, Using Adobe Lightroom with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro to test these creative workloads respectively.
These new tools require their respective Adobe Creative Suite components to be installed to operate, testing their workloads directly from the applications which creators will be using. That's how UL plans to deliver benchmark results which are accurate and applicable to their intended workloads.
Thanks to their Procyon series of benchmarks, UL will help hardware reviewers, system integrators and video editors to analyse these workloads and decide what hardware is best for Photo Editing and Video Editing. With manufacturers like ASUS, MSI and Lenovo creating creator-focused components and systems, the need for reliable creativity-focused benchmarking tools is larger than ever.
UL Benchmark's new Procyon Photo Editing and Video Editing benchmarks are now available to professional users. More information about these benchmarks is available here.
