Unseen Star Wars: 1313 gameplay has been releases
Star Wars 1313 was a game that showed a lot of promise, following Boba Fett as he travelled through Coruscant's Level 1313. While the game's early trailers looked promising at E3 2012, the game was ultimately cancelled after Disney closed LucasArts and laid off its staff following its acquisition of the Star Wars franchise.
To many Star Wars fans, the cancellation of 1313 is a sore spot. The game was due to star Boba Fett as its protagonist, one of the most popular characters in the franchise. While Star Wars fans now have Disney's The Book of Boba Fett to enjoy, Star Wars 1313 would have given the character the spotlight almost a decade earlier.
The Vault, a gaming archive, has uncovered and released new gameplay footage for Star Wars 1313, showcasing Boba Fett exploring Coruscant and talking part in an Uncharted-style chase sequence. In the game, Boba Fett lacks his jetpack, making the chase sequence a lot longer and more challenging than it could have been.
Star Wars 1313 is set between the prequel trilogy and the original trilogy, covering Boba's journey to become one of the most feared bounty hunters in the galaxy. By the end of the game, Boba is speculated to have access to his full set of Mandalorian armour.
This new gameplay footage showcases what could have existed had Disney not purchased Star Wars. That said, Disney has created a lot of good Star Wars content, with The Mandalorian being an obvious highlight.
