Voxel Duke Nukem has landed, and it’s 3D retro awesome

Voxel Duke Nukem 3D is now available to download

Duke Nukem fans rejoice! A new Voxel 3D mod for the 3D Realm’s classic FPS is now available, recreating the game’s 2d assets as 3D Voxel models. This gives the game a more modern 3D feel, while retaining the pixel art styling of the original game.

This new Voxel mod makes Duke Nukem’s 3D adventure feel more modern while retaining its retro appeal. Honestly, the new voxel models can make this mod hard to distinguish from the original, if you’ve somehow forgotten about the original game’s rotating 2D sprites. When running through the battlefield or circling around opponents, the full 3D nature of the game’s new models showcase this mod’s full voxel glory.

Get ready for Voxel Duke Nukem 3D! All monsters, babes, props and more have been fully converted to 3d voxel models. Blast your way through the first 3 original episodes with voxelized assets, creating a modernized feel to Duke like never before. Hail to the King, Baby!
