40K fans rejoice! – Warhammer 40K: Gladius – Relics of War is currently available for free on PC

To celebrate the latest “Skulls” Warhammer Gaming event, Warhammer 40K: Gladius – Relics of War has been made available for free on all major PC gaming storefronts. This includes the Epic Games Store, Steam, and GOG.

Gladius: Relics of War is the first 4X strategy game that is set within the Warhammer 40K universe. The base game allows gamers to play as the Astra Militarum (Imperial Guard), Space Marines, Orks or Necrons. With DLC, additional factions become available like the Adepta Sororitas, Adeptus Mechanicus, Chaos Space Marines, Craftworld Aeldari, Tyranids, and T’au.

If you are a fan of Civilization-style games, Gladius is a game that’s worth trying. With the game being free, there is no reason for 40K fans, and fans of the 4x genre to try the game out. Unlike many other 4X games, diplomacy is not an option here. This makes Gladius a lot more about war than 4X games like Civilization and Humankind.

Since this game is from 2018, Gladius’ PC system requirements are not high by today’s standards. The game runs well on all modern Windows and Linux-powered gaming systems. Gladius even rated as “Playable” on Valve’s Steam Deck. The game will be available for free on PC until May 30th.
