Warriors Orochi 4 arrives on Steam – Here are the game’s PC system requirements
This is the first Warriors Orochi game to release on PC since the original, making this the first time that the series has published on the platform for almost ten years. Koei Tecmo has increased their focus on PC gaming in recent years due to the platform’s growing popularity in Japan and other nations, acting as a growth vector for the publisher’s most popular game series’.Â
Strangely, Warriors Orochi 4’s PC system requirements are defined with a minimum resolution of 480p in mind, which is much lower than what most PC games should be expected to utilise in 2018, especially on the game’s GTX 660 minimum GPU requirement.Â
 Â
Warrior’s Orochi’s recommended PC system requirements are much closer to what we would typically expect for a resolution of 1080p, with Koei Tecmo listing a GTX 960 graphics card for this resolution. A strong quad-core processor like an Intel i7-3770 and 8GB of system memory is also expected for 1080p gameplay, though at this time it is unknown what settings or framerates this hardware configuration targets.Â
