Wasteland 3 has been delayed until August

At X019, Microsoft revealed that InXile’s Wasteland 3 will release on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 19th 2019, but now, the game has been delayed until August. 

Citing the company’s move to a new work-from-home environment and new challenges, InXile has confirmed that Wasteland 3 will not launch on its intended release date, moving the game’s PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One release to August 28th. The game will release as a standalone title and via Xbox Game Pass. 
Thankfully, this delay won’t harm Wasteland 3’s original release plans, as InXile still plans to release their game on Windows 10, macOS and Linux. Right now, the game is available to pre-order on Steam and the Microsoft Store for £54.99

Wasteland 3 was in development before InXile was acquired by Microsoft, which should explain why the game is coming to PlayStation 4 and non-Windows operating systems on PC. 

  

   In Wasteland 3 the fate of Arizona depends on the fate of Colorado. You’re a Desert Ranger, fighting a losing battle to keep your beloved Arizona alive, when the self-proclaimed Patriarch of Colorado radios, promising aid if you’ll do a job he can only entrust to an outsider—rescue his land from the ambitions of his three bloodthirsty children.

Wasteland 3 is a post-apocalyptic RPG from inXile entertainment, featuring challenging tactical combat, hours of exploration, and a deep, reactive story full of twists, turns, and brutal ethical decisions. Play in single-player or co-op as you customize your squad with perks and abilities geared to your playstyle, and customize your vehicle — the Kodiak — turning it into a hardened war beast.
