The Xbox Games Showcase is about to start

We are about to witness the biggest gaming event of 2024. How do we know this? Well, thanks to Microsoft’s ownership of Blizzard, Bethesda, and Activision, their new Xbox Games Showcase has access to an absurd amount of potential content to showcase. It wasn’t long ago that Bethesda has their own E3 style showcase, and now that is folded into Microsoft’s Xbox events.

Like last year, Microsoft’s gaming showcase will be followed by a “Direct” event. Last year, Microsoft hosted a “Starfield Direct” event following their main showcase. This year, Microsoft has Black Ops 6 Direct. This event will be important for gamers on all platforms, as the multi-platform nature of Call of Duty will draw the eyes of all gamers.

Rumour has it that a new Gears game will be revealed by The Coalition. A new entry for the State of Decay series is also due to be revealed by Undead Labs. New Xbox hardware is also in the works. Additionally, we are likely to see Bethesda’s content plans for Starfield.

Microsoft’s gaming showcase will start at 10 AM PT/1 PM ET/6 PM BST on June 9th. The event will be streamed on YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook and will be available in over 30 languages.
