Ready to see the future of Total War?

Creative Assembly is getting ready to host their Total War 25th Anniversary Showcase. The event starts at 4 PM GMT and will showcase new content spanning both fantasy and historical genres.

During the event, we expect to see new content for Total War: Warhammer 3 and new game announcements. A new historical Total War is reportedly in development. There are also rumours of a Total War: Warhammer 40,000 game, which would push the Total War series into the sci-fi genre for the first time.

For Total War: Warhammer III, it is likely that a new “End Times” DLC may be unveiled alongside other content. Fans are expecting Creative Assembly to reveal Nagash, The Great Necromancer, as a new Legendary Lord. Such a DLC would rework Total War: Warhammer III’s undead factions.

Today’s 25th Anniversary Steam is going to be a massive event for all Total War fans. Personally, I would love to see a new Total War: Medieval or Total War: Empire game. That said, new Total War: Warhammer 3 content is always welcome. That said, give how large Total War: Warhammer 3 has become, it is possible that an even larger campaign map may be required if more Lords are to be added to the game. Could Total War: Warhammer 4 be in the works? Perhaps an even larger campaign map?
