Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a disaster for PC gamers on Mouse & Keyboard

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is now available on PC, and gamers aren’t happy

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has launched on PC through Steam, and the game is a mess for gamers using mouse and keyboard to play the game. So far, the game as a “Mostly Negative” review rating on Steam, with most reviews complaining about poor controls and poor system performance. 

Right now, it is recommended that PC gamers playing Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty on PC use a gamepad, and the sad thing is that many PC games had already reported these control issues to Koei Tecmo after the release of Wo Long’s PC Demo version. On top of that, the game is said to suffer from shader compilation stutters on PC, and is said to have loading related stutters.

These issues combined make Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty’s PC players feel like second-class citizens, as Koei Tecmo felt that releasing a PC version of their game in its current state was appropriate for a £54.99 game. It isn’t. 

Let’s hope that Koei Tecmo can release a PC patch for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty soon that can address these concerns on PC. If a patch can be released quickly, Koei Tecmo can at least salvage some good will from PC gamers. Right now, Koei Tecmo is a company that is not associated with great PC versions, and they could change that reputation with enough effort. PC gamers deserve better than this Koei Tecmo…
