Yes! Demon Souls is “also available on PC” – (Update – It’s not)

– Update 2 – Sony has confirmed that their “also available on PC” listing was a “human error”.

In the latest trailer for Demon Souls, Sony has marked the game as a “PlayStation Exclusive”, stating that the game is “Not available on other consoles for a limited time.” PC gamers will be glad to know that at the end of the trailer, Sony has also stated that the game is “Also available on PC.”

Demon Souls’ remake comes from Bluepoint games, not From Software. Bluepoint is the master of the remaster, having created the PlayStation 4 version of Shadow of the Colossus and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.

Assuming that Sony’s Demon Souls trailer is correct, it looks like Demon Souls is coming to the PC platform, opening up the game to a wider audience while giving Sony an “exclusive” to hold over Xbox. It is possible that Sony’s PC listing is a mistake, though this had not been confirmed.

Right now, Demon Souls is only available on PC through PS3 emulation.  This makes Demon Souls’ remaster the title’s first official PC release. Below you can have a look at Bluepoint’s take on Demon Souls for yourself, highlighting several different environments, bosses and more.

Update 1 – Sony has now set Dark Souls’ latest trailer to private. This update could mean that Demon Souls’ remaster may not be coming to PC after all.
