Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is currently available for free on PC

On the Epic Games Store, PC gamers are being given a chance to redeem a copy of Playtonic Games' Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, which released back in 2019 on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. This game has already been available for free from Epic Games, with today's offer giving PC users another chance to pick up this modern SNES-style platformer. 

Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is a spin-off of Playtonic's Yooka-Laylee, taking the series mascots into a 2D side-scroller that's similar in feel to the original Donkey Kong Country games on the SNES, complete with modern graphics and a multitude of levels.

This game release on October 8th, 2019, and has so far reviewed very positively. At the time of writing, this game costs £24.99 on Steam, making this a fantastic offer from the Epic Games Store, especially given the game's positive reviews.

Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair will be available for free until 4 PM GMT on February 10th, after which, Windbound will be available for free until February 17th.
