ADATA announced their Ultimate SU800 series of 3DNAND SSDs
ADATA announced their Ultimate SU800 series of 3DNAND SSDs, offering higher storage density, increased performance and lower power consumption than SSDs using traditional NAND.
The SU800 series of SSDs will be SATA-based SSDs, though ADATA is teasing their upcoming high-performance SU900 series of SSDs for a September release. The SU800 series will come with capacities of between 128GB and 1TB, though the company has not stated what kind of 3D NAND the company are using.
ADATA's new SU800 SSDs will be driven by an SMI SSD controller, with the drive itself offering read speeds that can reach 560MB/s and write speeds that can top out at 520MB/s, roughly a 10% increase over 2D NAND Flash models that use TLC chips.
This SSD will come with a 3-year warranty and come in at the below MSRPs in the US.
MSRP
- SU800 SSD 128GB $59.99
- SU800 SSD 256GB $79.99
- SU800 SSD 512GB $139.99
- SU800 SSD 1TB $269.99
