ADATA launches their new SU800 series of 3D NAND powered m.2 SSDs

ADATA has launched their new SU800 series of 3D NAND powered M.2 SSDs, offering capacities of between 128GB and 1TB and sequential read and write speeds of 560MB/s and 520MB/s respectively.

This new SSD offers higher storage density, faster read/write speeds and enhanced durability due to its use of 3D NAND, though sadly this SSD is capped to SATA SSD speeds and therefore cannot reach the performance heights of more costly NVMe storage solutions.

Unlike 2.5" SATA SSDs the M.2 SU800 series can operate with no need for cables or a large amount of space, mounting directly to modern motherboards allowing the SSD to reduce latency and increase system performance.

Right now ADATA has not released the pricing of their new SU800 series of SSDs, but states that they are targeting budget friendly systems and will offer "attractive pricing". These SSDs should be available from online storefronts within the next few weeks.
