Codemasters release their first gameplay trailer for DiRT 4

Codemasters have now released their first gameplay trailer for DiRT 4, showcasing a little of what players can expect from this new racing sim.

DiRT 4 will come with 50 iconic vehicles from the history of motorsport, promising to challenge players in a variety of disciplines like rally, rallycross and landrush. The new DiRT Acadamy mode has also been added to the game to train drivers in the skill required to become a top player online.

The game will feature both Gamer and Simulation handling models, allowing this game to suit both fans of arcade racing and driving sim enthusiasts. DiRT 4 will build upon the physics and damage mechanics of previous games in the series and will include a new “Your Stage” system, which will allow players to create their own rally tracks with a few simple button clicks, allowing players to a seemingly limitless number of tracks.

Codemasters has also created an exclusive partnership with Globe to license 40 tracks for the game, which includes artists like The Amazons, Sigma, Freak, The Chemical Brothers, Disclosure, Queens of the Stone Age and Bastille.

The new trailer features the absolute banger ‘Instigators’, by Grace Potter – one of the songs from the amazing in-game soundtrack that has been created for DiRT 4 in an exclusive partnership with Globe, Universal Music UK’s in-house sync team.

The agreement with Globe will see over 40 licensed tracks appear throughout the game, matching DiRT’s unique style and tone, and includes exclusive tracks from artists such as The Amazons, Sigma, Freak and Pretty Vicious alongside tracks from The Chemical Brothers, Disclosure, Queens Of The Stone Age and Bastille.

DiRT 4 will release on June 6th on PC.
