Corsair officially reveals their NX500 series of Ultra-fast NVMe SSDs
Â
Corsair has officially released their new Neutron NX500 series of NVMe PCle AIC SSD, offering that they say is up to 5x the performance of a traditional SATA SSD.Â
Â
This new SSD will come in a PCIe form factor and will require a PCIe 4x slot on your motherboard, coming with a beefy aluminium heatsink for cooling as well as a neat black backplate.Â
Â
These new Neutron NX500 SSDs will come with capacities of 400GB and 800GB and sequential read/write speeds of up to 3,000MB/s and 2,400MB/s. In terms of random Read and write performance these SSDs are also set to offer 300,000 and 270,000 IOPS respectively, which is a lot of performance for a modern SSD. Â
Â
 Â
Â
These two SSDs are currently available for sale in for $£339.99 and £694.99 for the 400GB and 800GB versions respectively on Corsair’s website.Â
