Crucial’s P5 1TB M.2 SSD offers incredible NVMe value at £75

Crucial’s P5 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD is currently available at an insane price, offering PC gamers 3,400 MBps sequential write speeds for £75. That’s a tonne of value for PC builders in the UK, especially those who have not updated to PCIe 4.0 motherboards.

Note that this SSD is not Crucial’s P5 Plus model, which is a PCIe 4.0 SSD that delivers faster sequential read speeds of 6600MBps. This is Crucial’s older PCIe 3.0 model, and as such, this SSD is not PS5 compatible and it is significantly slower. That said, this is still a fast NVMe SSD for today’s use cases. Most users will not be able to tell the difference between a fast PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD and a fast PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, especially while gaming. You can learn more about Crucial’s P5 Plus SSD here.
