Sabrent has created the perfect storage expansion card for Valve's Steam Deck system
Sabrent has now entered the MicroSD card market, revealing a set of new Rocket V30 A2 MicroSDXC storage solutions that are designed to be perfect for smartphones, portable gaming systems, and action cameras.
With 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options, Sabrent's new Rocket V30 A2 MicroSD cards are ideal for use as a storage expansion option for Valve's Steam Deck gaming system or for Nintendo's Switch console. With the SD card's A2 certification, the SSD is capable of delivering 4,000/2,000+ read/write IOPS during demanding workloads, utilising the latest 3D NAND technology to ensure high levels of peak performance.
Sabrent's new SD cards also feature a V30 speed rating, which meet the UHS-I performance criteria to ensure that these Micro SD cards are ready for 4K video recording and other demanding workloads. Sabrent has stated that they will not use last-gen NAND technology to create their SD cards, and that their MicroSDXC SSD controllers feature ECC support to give users an extended card lifespan.
With Valve's Steam Deck system shipping with a minimum of 32GB of internal storage and a maximum of 512GB of internal storage, Sabrent's new Rocket V30 A2 MicroSD cards are an ideal option for upgrading the storage of Valve's portable gaming system. 1TB of additional storage would go a long way within Valve's portable gaming handheld, though it is worth noting that all 1TB MicroSD cards are expensive.
Sabrent's new Rocket V30 A2 MicroSD cards are now available to purchase online though Amazon. Below are links to Sabrent's latest SD cards on Amazon UK.
